Effective methods to advance Heritage Spanish teaching

We are still planning the schedule for this workshop, but sessions will include information on using technology to create with students, creating promotional materials for your program, vertical curricular alignment, mixed classes and differentiation, assessment, and reading with heritage students.

The workshop is intended for language instructors of all levels and all contexts: K-12, community college, 4-year colleges and universities.

Bring your own device

Participants will be creating resources. Please bring a laptop or tablet to work with.

To attend or get involved in the workshop

  • Register for the workshop ($20 for students, $50 for teachers, administrators, and faculty). Cost includes one breakfast and two buffet lunches.
  • Apply for an honoraria to help pay for travel to the workshop (deadline February 3, 2020)
  • Apply to share your work in the poster session (deadline April 15, 2020)

Credit

Continuing professional education (CPE) credits are given to participants who attend the whole workshop
