3.2: Das Schwarze Brett Das Schwarze Brett is a campus bulletin board found at every German university. There are advertisements for rooms or apartments, bikes, musical instruments, clubs, dance partners, anything that you can think of. While on university campuses these Bretter are still pieces of paper tacked on in a myriad of layers, in today's electronic age, there is - of course - an online Schwarzes Brett. And it's a great way to find something you're looking for (i.e., housing, jobs) or even to meet people if you are planning to go study in Germany (and need a bike, a room, a roommate, etc.). Go online to the Schwarzes Brett at the University of Ulm to answer the following questions: https://portal.uni-ulm.de/ A. Rubriken. There are a number of possible categories listed under "Rubriken". Most of the categories have a "biete" and "suche" option. Look at a couple of ads in each and decide which one means "looking for" and which one means "for sale." B. Kategorien.
