The input and output activities in Français interactif very often require students to work in pairs or small groups. Group work puts more of the responsibility on the students to manipulate and learn the material. Do your students ever engage in group work? What are the advantages and disadvantages of group work from the perspective of the learner and the instructor? What is the role of the instructor before, during, and after a pair or group activity?
