Будем на связи (We’ll be in Touch / Online) originated as a sequence of copyrighted online courses developed at the University of Texas at Austin. The goal of thethree-semester sequence was to bring the learner to an Intermediate-level proficiency based on ACTFL guidelines. Designed by Dr. Heather Rice, the curriculum was developed within the Canvas learning management system for exclusive use by UT students. While the online course proved highly popular, it remained relatively unknown to Russian teachers and learners outside of UT-Austin. This project repurposes the original Canvas materials as a 2-volume Open Educational Resource hosted on the Pressbooks platform.
