- Wohnst du gerne mit anderen zusammen, oder lebst du lieber alleine?
- Beides hat Vor- und Nachteile, ich glaube, momentan ist es sehr gut für mich, dass ich mit anderen Leuten zusammen wohne. Einmal, weil man viele Probleme dadurch etwas leichter macht. Man kann zum Beispiel die Rechnungen besser bezahlen, wenn man zu dritt arbeitet … äh… wohnt. Man kann... man hat viel Kontakt, was auch wichtig ist. Und in meiner Wohnungsgemeinschaft studieren wir alle das Gleiche. Wir studieren alle Deutsch und insofern hilft dies auch, wenn man ein paar Deutsch-spezifische Probleme besprechen kann und sich gegenseitig ein bisschen austauschen kann. Das ist sehr praktisch. Ganz alleine wohnen ist manchmal auch ein bisschen einsam für mich.

- Do you like to live together with others, or do you prefer to live alone?
- Both have pros and cons, but I believe that right now it’s very good for me to be living together with other people. For starters, because it makes some problems a little easier. You can pay the bills a little easier for example, if three people share them. You have a lot of contact with people, which is also important. And in my apartment we are all studying the same thing; we all study German, and that also helps in that if a few German specific problems arise we can talk about it. That is very convenient. Living completely alone is sometimes a little lonely, in my opinion.
