- Ja, sehr gerne.
- Was war die letzte Reise, die du gemacht hast?
- Die letzte Reise ging nach Kanada und in die USA letzten Sommer beziehungsweise Herbst.
- Und was hast Du dort gemacht, gesehen?
- In Kanada haben wir `ne Rundreise durch Alberta und British Columbia unternommen. Die Rockies angeschaut, klettern gegangen, auf Vancouver Island waren wir, haben Victoria angeschaut, also diese ganzen Sachen. Sehr schön! Danach in den USA hab‘ ich Verwandte, Bekannte und Freunde besucht. Bin auch durch die Gegend gereist, angefangen in Idaho, Washington State, Kalifornien und New York.
- Wie lange wart ihr da?
- Insgesamt war ich 7 1/2 Wochen unterwegs.
- Und wie war die Reise?
- Sehr schön. Sehr aufregend. Wir haben gezeltet. Und gerade für uns ist die Situation mit dem wild-life, also die Bären, nicht so angenehm gewesen, weil wir dann doch teilweise ganz schön Angst gehabt haben, ob uns nicht doch etwas passiert nachts auf den Campingplätzen, aber es ist alles gut gegangen.
- Habt ihr einige gesehen?
- Wir haben relativ viele gesehen. Einmal nachts sogar auf dem Campingplatz. Und da war natürlich die Nachtruhe dahin.
- Das kann ich mir vorstellen!

- Do you like to travel?
- Yes, very much.
- What was the last trip that you took?
- The last trip was to Canada and the US, last summer and fall.
- What did you do there, what did you see?
- In Canada we did a tour through Alberta and British Columbia. We saw the Rockies, we went climbing, we went to Vancouver Island, visited Victoria, and such things. Very nice! Then in the US I visited relatives, acquaintances and friends. I also traveled around some in the area, beginning in Idaho, Washington State, California and New York.
- How long were you there?
- Altogether I was gone for about seven and a half weeks.
- And what was the trip like?
- Very nice. Very exciting. We went camping. And for us the situation with the wild-life, the bears specifically, wasn’t all that great, because we actually were quite scared whether something would happen to us at the camp sites. But all went well.
- Did you see any [bears]?
- We saw quite a few. Once even at the camp site, and then of course that night there was no rest for us.
- I can imagine!
