- Oh, ich reise sehr gerne [gern], ich liebe reisen.
- Was war die letzte Reise, die du gemacht hast?
- Die letzte Reise, die ich gemacht habe war... ich muss mal überlegen, ich glaube Hawaii.
- Wie war die Reise?
- Ach, sie war sehr lang, man sitzt sehr lange im Flugzeug, wenn man von Texas nach Hawaii fliegt. Aber dort war es sehr schön. Das Wetter war ganz toll, es war sehr warm, aber nicht zu heiß. Man konnte schwimmen gehen, aber ich war dort auf einer Konferenz; das heißt, ich musste auch ein bisschen arbeiten, aber das war ein ganz tolles Klima zum Arbeiten, weil man auch viele andere Sachen machen konnte.
- Welche Sehenswürdigkeiten hast du dort gesehen? Und was hast du dort gemacht?
- Ich war zum Beispiel auf dem Diamond Head; das ist ein alter Vulkan, da bin ich raufgewandert. Das war sehr schön und anstrengend. Ich war schwimmen, ich habe mir Surfer angekuckt, ich habe... ich war bei Pearl Harbor auch und habe mir auch da die Monumente angeschaut und sehr viel war ich aber auch einfach im Hotel, wo die Konferenz war.

- Oh, I like to travel, I love to travel.
- What was the last trip you took?
- The last trip that I took was... I have to think about it, I think to Hawaii.
- How was your trip?
- Ah, it was very long; you sit in the airplane for a long time when you travel from Texas to Hawaii. But it was very nice there. The weather was really great, and it was very warm, but not too hot. You could go swimming, but I was at a conference there. That meant that I also had to work a little bit. But it was a great climate to be working in, because you could do other things too.
- Which sights did you see there? What did you do there?
- I was, for example, on Diamon Head; that’s an old vulcano, and I climbed up on that. That was very nice and exhausting. I went swimming, I watched surfers, I ... I went to Pearl Harbor too and looked at the monuments there, and I was also simply at the hotel a lot where the conference was held.
