- Jain! Also meine Familie im engeren Sinne besteht ja nur aus meiner Mutter, meinem Vater, meiner Schwester und mir. Meine Omas leben beide weiter weg, das heißt, die sehe ich nicht so häufig. Die Opas sind beide gestorben. Mein Vater hat eine Schwester, die hat auch zwei Söhne, die beide schon verheiratet sind und Kinder haben, also so wächst die Familie. Meine Mutter hat noch zwei Schwestern, und auch jeweils schon Neffen und Nichten.
- Wohnen sie hier in der Nähe?
- Nein, die wohnen alle im Spessart, also einem Naturpark mehr oder weniger, eine Stunde weiter weg von hier. Und meine Tanten wohnen teilweise in Frankfurt und München, und ja...

- Do you have a large family?
- Yes and no. My immediate family consists only of my mother, my father, my sister and myself. My grandmothers both live farther away, which means that I don’t see them that often. [My] grandfathers are both dead. My father has a sister, who has two sons, who are both married and have kids. This is how the family grows. My mother also has two sisters, and also some nephews and nieces.
- Do they live nearby?
- No, they all live in Spessart, a kind of nature-park, more or less, about an hour away from here. My aunts live in Frankfurt and in Munich, yes...
