- Was guckst du am liebsten im Fernsehen?
- Die Simpsons, ja, und dann, und ohne jetzt ein Snob zu sein, aber ich sehe sehr viele Sendungen auf PBS. Die gefallen mir: Frontline und so weiter sonst sehe ich... Oh, oh, ja ich muss es zugeben, Desperate Housewives, am Sonntagabend.
- Hast du einen Lieblingsschauspieler oder eine Lieblingsschauspielerin?
- Ich verliebe mich immer in Schauspielerinnen. Da gibt es viel... Kim Basinger ist immer noch ganz oben. Unter den Schauspielern gibt es einige, aber Dustin Hoffman war mir immer sehr … ja, Dustin Hoffman vielleicht.
- Der beste Film mit Dustin Hoffman?
- Das ist schwer, er hat so viele gute Filme gemacht... The Graduate natürlich, und auch vielleicht dieser Film, wo er diesen... dieser Indianerfilm. Wie heißt er gleich wieder?
- Little Good Man?
- Little Big Man! Denn er spielt alles von einem 16-Jährigen bis zu einem 123-Jährigen, und das ist viel.
- Liest du gerne?
- Sehr gerne.
- Was liest du gerne?
- Ich lese praktisch... Romane natürlich. Im Moment lese ich sehr viele Romane aus der amerikanischen Literaturwelt. Und zwar so ziemlich alles, was ich finden kann. Im Moment habe ich Truman Capote, und zwar alles, was er je publiziert hatte. Das sind 9 Bücher, die habe ich hinter mir. Im Moment lese ich auch wieder Salmon Rushdies neuestes Buch Shalimar der Clown. Ja ich lese sehr viel.

- The Simpsons, and yes, without being a snob now, I like to watch a lot of shows on PBS. These are the ones I like: Frontline… and such things. Otherwise I watch… Oh, yes, I have to confess, Desperate Housewives, on Sunday evening.
- Do you have a favorite movie actor or actress?
- I am always falling in love with actresses. Kim Basinger is still way at the top. As for actors, there are some, but for me Dustin Hoffman was always … yes, Dustin Hoffman maybe.

- That’s hard, because he has so many good films. The Graduate, of course, and also this movie where he … this Western Film. What is it called again?

- I read practically [everything].. Novels, of course. At the moment, I am reading a lot of novels from the American literary world. And then everything that I can find. Yes, I read a lot.
