- Ich mag Email eigentlich nicht. Ich habe das ausgerechnet. Die E-mails, die ich jeden Tag beantworte, wenn man die Stunden zusammenzählt, das sind ungefähr zwei Wochen aus meinem Leben jährlich, die ich nicht mehr habe. Ich bin nicht gegen E-mail, aber ich bin kein großer Freund der E-mail.
- Ich verstehe.
- Mir ist ein Telefongespräch lieber. Oder das allerschönste ist ein Brief.
- Ein persönlicher Brief?
- Ja.
- Aha. Schreibst du manchmal welche?
- Ich schreibe auch Briefe, ja, ja, immer noch. Und gerne. Und hebe mir die Briefe auf, die ich bekomme.
- Bist du ein bisschen sentimental?
- Ja, natürlich. Das kommt mit dem Alter.

- How important is E-mail for you?
- I actually don’t like e-mail. I figured it out, the e-mails that I have to answer each day take about two weeks out of my life every year; two weeks that I never get back. I am not against e-mail, but I am not a big fan of e-mail.
- I see.
- I prefer a phone call. Or the best thing is a letter.
- A personal letter?
- Yes.
- Do you ever write any?
- I write letters, yes. Still. And I like to write them. And I keep (aka: treasure) the letters that I get.
- Are you a bit sentimental?
- Yes, of course. That comes with age.
